L'Histoire · The House

Plaque No. 01

Parabelle is a vintage house in Sawfar, furnished piece by piece and kept for one purpose: photography.

Sawfar was once the summer address of Beirut. Grand hotels, a train station, long verandas in the pines. Parabelle keeps that memory alive inside its walls. Every room is decorated as a ready set, with aged wood, brass, lace and real patina, so photographers and videographers can book the house by the session and start shooting the moment they arrive.

The tagline says it plainly: la belle mémoire, the beautiful memory. Everything the brand puts out should feel like something worth keeping. A photograph found decades later in an album, still lovely.

What the brand stands for

  • Curated vintage. Every object in the house was chosen, nothing is there by accident.
  • The house serves the lens. Light and space come before decoration.
  • Lebanese warmth with a French accent, like Sawfar itself.
  • Understated. A little brass goes a long way.

Le Logo · Usage

Plaque No. 02

The logo is a single lockup: the illustrated façade of the house in Laiton brass above the PARABELLE wordmark and tagline in Ivoire. Charbon is its home canvas and should be its background in most uses.

Primary · on Charbon
Tonal · on Laiton, secondary

Rules

  • Clear space: keep a margin equal to the height of the PARABELLE wordmark on all sides.
  • Minimum size: 120 px wide on screen, 30 mm in print. Below that, use the house illustration alone.
  • Over photography, place the logo on a calm dark area of the image, or inside a Charbon band.

Never

  • Recolor the illustration or wordmark outside Laiton and Ivoire.
  • Place the full lockup on white. The wordmark disappears. Use a Charbon container instead.
  • Stretch, rotate, outline, or add shadows and glows.
  • Retype the wordmark in another typeface or rewrite the tagline.

Two production files accompany this kit: parabelle-logo-dark.svg with the built in Charbon field, for avatars and stand alone use, and parabelle-logo-transparent.svg for placement over brand surfaces and photography.

Les Couleurs · Palette

Plaque No. 03

Three colors come straight from the logo. Three more extend the palette for interiors, print and web. Charbon and Laiton carry the brand, the rest support. A good balance is around 60% Charbon, 25% Papier and Ivoire, 15% Laiton, with touches of Pin and Sépia.

La Typographie · Type

Plaque No. 04

Three faces, three jobs. Bpmf Zihi Kai Std is the wordmark face from the logo itself. It appears only in the logo and in short brand lockups, never in running text. Cinzel carries headings and labels in tracked capitals. Libre Baskerville handles all reading text. All three are embedded in this document, so it renders the same wherever it opens.

For Arabic materials, pair with a classical naskh such as Amiri, set in Ivoire on Charbon, never condensed.

La Voix · Voice

Plaque No. 05

Parabelle writes like a gracious host with a good eye. Warm, brief, a little literary. French phrases are seasoning, one per piece of writing is enough. English and Arabic copy keep the same calm register.

"Come shoot where time already did the styling."

Say

  • "The house is yours for the afternoon."
  • "Every room is a ready set."
  • "Bring your lens. The light is waiting."

Avoid

  • Hype words like stunning, ultimate, luxury experience.
  • Studio jargon in client facing copy.
  • Exclamation marks and emoji in brand communications.

L'Image · Photography

Plaque No. 06

Brand photography shows the house as photographers will find it: natural window light, warm shadows, honest grain. Shoot wide to present rooms as sets, and close for the details. Brass handles, lace, worn wood. Grade warm with slightly lifted blacks. Never HDR, never cold.
